Statue of Liberty National Monument : One of the most popular things for tourists to do in New York City is visiting the Statue of Liberty. Statue of Liberty National Monument is a national monument comprising Liberty Island and Ellis Island in New York Harbor.[4] It includes the Statue of Liberty, situated on Liberty Island (40°41′24″N 74°02′44″W / 40.689978°N 74.045448°W / 40.689978; -74.045448), and the former immigration depot on Ellis Island (40°41′57″N 74°02′23″W / 40.699300°N 74.039655°W / 40.699300; -74.039655). The Statue of Liberty was dedicated in 1886. The immigration station at Ellis Island opened in 1892 and closed in 1954. - Wikipedia The Statue of Liberty Monument and Ellis Island are both accessible by ferry from Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey and Battery Park in Lower Manhattan, New York. Plan a full day for this visit considering you have both Ellis Island, the immigration depot, and long lines for security at the Monument. The park has opened up service to the top of the crown, but tickets are sold ahead of time in limited quantities for each day.

ING New York City Marathon 2010 : I attended my first NYC Marathon, while Aracely ran in her first NYC Marathon. This was an amazing event to both participate in and be a spectator. The race had over 45,000 starters, ranging from 18 years old to 87 years old and spanned the 5 boroughs of New York City.

Cooper River Park, New Jersey : Cooper River Park (346.55 acres) runs through Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Collingswood and Haddon Township. The park is bounded by North and South Park Drives, Route 130 and Grove Street. Cooper River Park is home to many prestigious rowing events. Ideal rowing conditions exist on the Cooper River which boasts a world-class, Olympic-distance, 2000 meter narrow and sheltered straightaway. Cooper River Park is a wonderful place to job a 4 mile loop, feed the ducks, watch rowing events, take a walk and watch the colors change in the fall.

New Jersey Highways : During our travels back and forth from Hoboken to Philadelphia we drive on the New Jersey Turnpike. This one day the sky and sunset were perfect for some great photos. Unfortunately, I realized when I started taking pictures, it was mostly of the factories spewing pollution near the Newark International Airport.

Hiking Gray's Peak Colorado : Grays Peak - 14,270 feet Location: On the Continental Divide in the Front range. Interstate 70 is only 4 miles to the north. Grays Peak is the highest peak on the Continental Divide - in the United States. Arapaho forest. This hike is manageable with only boots and water during the warmer months.
